When you contact us to do a quote, we need to collect certain personal details to enable us to provide the decorating services you have requested from us.

This will include your name, address, telephone number and email address. We may use the contact information you provided to contact you via email, SMS and telephone in relation to our services that you have requested.

Why we keep your personal data

We keep your personal data for record keeping purposes, to be able to respond to queries and to honour our 2 year guarantee. Time frames may vary depending on the circumstances and in particular for repeat clients, however we will not keep records that include personal data for more than 6 years after the initial quote. It is a legal requirement that we keep a copy of invoices for 6 years for accounting purposes.

Deletion of your personal information

You have the right to ask us to delete personal information about you where you consider that we no longer require the information for the purposes for which it was obtained. To do so, please email your request to have this removed to Christine Joseph at joseph.decorating@ntlworld.com

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being used or accessed in an unauthorised way. Occasionally it will be necessary for us to share your contact information with a relevant sub-contractor in order to carry out the work you have requested. This data sharing enables them to supply additional quotes for services we do not undertake such as scaffolding, deliver supplies to site and or carry out subcontracted works as instructed. These will only ever be trusted companies that we work with on a regular basis and your information will be covered under their Privacy Statement.

This privacy policy may change from time to time in line with legislation or industry developments. We will not explicitly inform our clients or website users of these changes. Instead, we recommend that you check this page occasionally for any policy changes.
